City of Ibiza

22 JULY 2019

Ibiza, nature, culture, art, design and lots of fun awaits you. The beauty of its urban beaches contrasts with the beauty and rural air of its nature.

In the city of Ibiza the cultural heritage of the numerous civilizations that were established here historically is noted. Carthaginians, Phoenicians, Romans, Arabs. A great example of this is the wall of D’alt Vila, the cathedral or the necropolis of Puig des Molins and that is why Ibiza is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Just a visit to the cathedral entering from the old market to understand the cultural richness of this island. Entering the Ses Taules portal, you access the inside of the wall. The narrow white streets, the cobbled floors and the different bastions offer you an authentic and unique view of Ibiza.

Attached to the wall, the marina district is dotted with narrow streets full of shops with unique fashion collections that are not found anywhere else in the world. Recognized worldwide for many of the great fashion icons. Here you can find custom leather sandals or clothing brought from Bali or California together with creations from local designers.

The gastronomic offer of the city of Ibiza is immense. The truth is that in the city of Ibiza you have restaurants of international cuisine. Some of the best chefs in the world have established their restaurants here. The Adriá, Paco Roncero or Sergi Arola brothers are some of the international chefs based in Ibiza.

If you are looking for leisure for the whole family, Ibiza can offer you a lot of options. From long, sandy beaches such as Playa D’en Bossa or Ses Salines or Aguamar, the water park located on Playa D’en Bossa where you can enjoy a family day full of excitement.

And talking about Ibiza is talking about its nightlife. Pacha, Heart, El Lío or a large number of small bars, pubs and terraces make up the Ibizan night. Again in the marina area you will find a terrace for dinner and have a drink at a long table. After getting lost in one of its terraces to follow the night and go after midnight to one of its famous clubs can be the beginning and agenda of a great night with friends.
